Ballpark gates will open at 2:30 p.m. MST for the 5:10 p.m. start to allow fans enough time to get in their seats prior to the ceremony. Fans at that night's game will also be treated to a recap of Game 7 of the 2001 World Series during inning breaks.
The 10-year anniversary World Championship Reunion Weekend, presented by Gila River Casinos, begins on Friday, Sept. 9 when purple and teal make a comeback, as the 2011 team will wear the same jerseys as the '01 D-backs.
Following Friday night's game, fans will be treated to a postgame fireworks show featuring at-bat walkup music from members of the 2001 team.
It continues with Saturday's reunion and concludes on Sunday with a D-backs tribute, 9/11 Salute to our Everyday Heroes. The first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a patriotic D-backs stars and stripes T-shirt.
