MLB To Hold 2013 Media Day In Arizona On February 18

Major League Baseball will hold its inaugural 2013 Media Day at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday, February 18th, it was announced today.

The general managers and field managers of all Arizona-based Clubs in Spring Training have been invited to the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks for three separate, hour-long periods of media availability.  The sessions will serve as a preview of the 2013 season before the start of Spring Training games.

FOR MEDIA TO ATTEND: In order to confirm attendance at the Media Day, media members should email Mike Teevan (mike.teevan@mlb.com) of the MLB Public Relations Department no later than Monday, February 11th.  Further details on the room location at Chase Field will be made available in the weeks ahead.
