D-backs announce 2013 Opening Day Roster

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced their Opening Day, 25-man roster with a number of roster moves today, according to D-backs' Executive Vice President and General Manager Kevin Towers. The D-backs open the 2013 regular season tomorrow vs. the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:10 p.m.

The Opening Day roster includes 12 pitchers, 2 catchers, 7 infielders and 4 outfielders:

Pitchers (12): Heath Bell, Trevor Cahill, Josh Collmenter, Patrick Corbin, David Hernandez, Ian Kennedy, Brandon McCarthy, Wade Miley, J.J. Putz, Matt Reynolds, Tony Sipp and Brad Ziegler.

Catchers (2): Miguel Montero and Wil Nieves.

Infielders (7): Eric Chavez, Paul Goldschmidt, Aaron Hill, Eric Hinske, Cliff Pennington, Martin Prado and Josh Wilson.

Outfielders (4): Jason Kubel, Alfredo Marte, Gerardo Parra and A.J. Pollock.
