Gibson's challenge overturns call, ending fifth

PITTSBURGH -- D-backs manager Kirk Gibson won a manager's challenge in the bottom of the fifth inning against the Pirates on Thursday night at PNC Park.

With two outs in the inning and Pittsburgh leading, 2-0, Gregory Polanco attempted to steal second base, and umpire Doug Eddings called him safe on a close play.

Gibson came out and asked for a video replay, and after a review of a little more than four minutes, the call was overturned, and Polanco was ruled out to end the inning.
