CINCINNATI -- Reds manager Bryan Price successfully challenged a call in the second inning of Tuesday's game against the D-backs at Great American Ball Park.
With a runner on second and two outs, Zack Cozart hit a slow ground ball to shortstop, where Didi Gregorius fielded it and threw to first. Cozart was called out by first-base umpire Eric Cooper. After a one-minute, 25-second review, the call was overturned and Cozart was ruled safe.
The next batter, pitcher Mike Leake, hit an RBI single to extend the Reds' lead to 2-0.
